CGGS 375 LE JoG Relay 2011 - CMS Website (Content Management System)

In 2011, Calday Grange Grammar School celebrates its 375th anniversary. The centrepiece of the anniversary celebrations will be the first ever completion by a school of a relay from Land’s End to John O’Groats. For this event the school is partnering with Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool.

We designed and built a CMS website for the charity so they can spread the word of the charity, its good work and keep updating their website with fundraising events, news etc. This is done through many of the websites features to help inform people of what’s going on and helping to get people involved with the charity. Including making sure their mission statement was prominent and this was supported by a photo sideshow to get a emotive response from the viewer. The website also has a integrative map that not only illustrates the relay route they are going to do but it also has the different points of the relay on it so you can zoom to get the exact map references. The website also has a shop to generate sales for them and easy routes to donate through the website for the charity. As they add news articles the latest one will show in the side bar on every page to tell people about latest events.
